PR 3:14:17 St. George 2007 Long-Term Running Goals: Sub 3 hour marathon. Personal: Married. Stay at home mom. My husband and I have 2 daughters and 4 sons. And I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
With a seemingly impossible long-term goal of running a sub 3 hour marathon, the following scriptures give me hope:
In your patience possess ye your souls. Luke 21:19
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25
Submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord. Mosiah 24:15

Forgot to use my inhaler before heading out the door. Decided to go with it and "feel out" the condition of my lungs. Yeah...a bit dependent on drugs, unfortunately. Turned around a half mile into my run, took a shot, and back out the door. Hardly worth the effort...oh well. |
