Personal:

Married.  Stay at home mom.  My husband and I have 2 daughters and 4 sons.  And I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

With a seemingly impossible long-term goal of running a sub 3 hour marathon, the following scriptures give me hope:

In your patience possess ye your souls. Luke 21:19

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25

Submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.         Mosiah 24:15

And Ezra teaches that discipline and patience are born of disappointment.

Ran along the canal with the Sojourners' today.  Alexis threw up hard during the night and was (understandably) clingy.  Phillip's stomach bug got to her, hope Luke isn't next.  I'm so glad that I've managed to avoid it...knock on wood.  She woke up when I was getting ready to go and started fussing...Phillip didn't want me gone quite as long this morning because she's sick.  Long-story short, I did 8(+) miles with the group and called it quits.  Felt much better (and lighter) today than I did yesterday.

Where are you Jamie?

From Amberosia on Fri, Dec 28, 2007 at 19:23:42

Jamie, are you okay? I haven't heard from you in a long time. I hope you didn't get the flu!

From Jamie on Fri, Dec 28, 2007 at 22:55:29

Sorry guys. Yes, I've had the flu and it hasn't been pretty. But I'm back at it. Hope to see you both next week. I'll be up in Provo tomorrow.
