Personal:

Married.  Stay at home mom.  My husband and I have 2 daughters and 4 sons.  And I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

With a seemingly impossible long-term goal of running a sub 3 hour marathon, the following scriptures give me hope:

In your patience possess ye your souls. Luke 21:19

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25

Submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.         Mosiah 24:15

And Ezra teaches that discipline and patience are born of disappointment.

Had a healthy baby boy one week ago. Everything went very well and we are so glad he's finally here!  He has the sweetest disposition and is the best little baby in the world.  We named him Preston Scott; he was 8 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long.  I'm tired but enjoying him so much.

I have been waiting and wondering! What a big baby! All of mine were 7-3, 7-4 and 7-5. I can't imagine 8-6. I hope you have a support network that's helping you get sleep.

Thanks everyone; I appreciate your concern. Hope this season has been a good one so far for each of you...I struggle with nursing so my running is on hold for a while. I'll have to live through your successes in the meantime...so go get 'em!

Hope everything is going well. And you are nice and recovered from the birth. When you lookin at coming back? Not to rush you or anything. I remeber you saying you would give it more time to see if the nursing thing works out better this time. Hope that is working out for you. Think about you often and hope to see you on the road again. Spring?
