Personal:

Married.  Stay at home mom.  My husband and I have 2 daughters and 4 sons.  And I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

With a seemingly impossible long-term goal of running a sub 3 hour marathon, the following scriptures give me hope:

In your patience possess ye your souls. Luke 21:19

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25

Submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.         Mosiah 24:15

And Ezra teaches that discipline and patience are born of disappointment.

Aerosmith and Brad Paisley accompanied me on my run today...we were really getting into it!  I would imagine we were sort of funny to watch at times (we know how to get down!).  I was a bit sad that I had to get back to my house asap so that Phillip could take off for work; I was really enjoying myself.  Ran 8(+) miles.

Sounds like you had a nice run! I'm not sure that my music gets my mind off the run that well, I think that I have Aerosmith on my ipod, maybe he sings differently for me....darn!

Cute! I punch the air sometimes on a run when my favorite songs come on. Thankfully most people are still asleep, so they miss the show.

Nice run!

How's piano coming along?

I am glad you are feeling better and that you had some "great company" today on your run. I find myself rockin out to my music and singing out loud (and I cant sing) its fun that music can pump you up on a run!

and LYBI-

I laughed so hard when I read your comment and pictured you punching air. You have the best comments! Have you always been so quick witted?

Lybi, Piano is coming along. I really am enjoying it. I need to get the next book/level. I've been practicing the same stuff over and over and I'm ready to move on.

Good job! It takes a while for me to find comments like this because I never check my email. Awesome. Piano and running...it's like chocolate and peanut butter. Or just chocolate and MORE chocolate, if you're not a PB person.
